Mississippi - Part Twelve (yes, twelve) - Vicksburg - Baer House - Scarlett

Probably more of a ladies' post, but here's a glimpse of our room at Baer House in
Vicksburg, Mississippi.

"Scarlett" was the name of our room at Baer House.
It was very comfortable with all the necessities.

A pretty pink bathroom.
My husband said it was fine.
I'm sure he was thinking "don't get any ideas for home".
No worries, I'm not a pink person.

Just in case you're in the market for a bed and breakfast in Vicksburg, Mississippi,

I recommend Baer House.

("twelve" is a strange word, isn't it?)

Love discovering these old B&B's. While my hubs would not have a problem with the pink bath on vacation I know better then to get to girly here at home.

Gorgeous room, Amy. Lucky lady!!!

I have a lamp that looks almost identical to that one in the shop. I love the base.

Amy, that is just gorgeous! I love all the detail. It's what makes things so special. I think of it as the difference between slapping something together or actual craftsmanship. I love the deep scarlet wall and the crown moulding.
