Growing up we never had sodas in our house. I still remember the first coke I ever had when I was about 10. It was in Alabama at my Uncle's country store and blacksmith shop. He let each of us kids (I am eldest of 13) drop the coin in the coke machine and slide that icy cold bottle down the track to freedom. I thought it was ambrosia.

Ever since Coke has been my product of choice. But, I live in Pepsi country and most quick shops and restaurants serve Pepsi products. That is why I stick with my iced tea.

Great memories here. Coca Cola was originally made to cure headaches and to perk people up when they had the "downs." The formula has changed over the years. Thanks for sharing.
