I don't see many of this type around here and the ones that I do see are newer ones also. This is a great pic--I love the shadows and the contrast of the rusting roof with the green of the trees and grass. I also like how the grass seems to be hiding/protecting it. (Thanks for stopping by my place.)
What a great setting with the soft green grass--perfect complement to the rusty metal roof. Would enjoying having this as a deck view. Hope you were enjoying a tall glass of icy sweet tea as well! :-)
I capture so many barns like this one in our area. I have resisted using many of them because they are so plentiful. Kind of like a cookie cutter subdivision, I guess.

Great shot! I see a barns a lot like this here in Arkansas--so it feels like "home" to me!
You're probably correct that it's not old BUT it still has charm. I like barns with rusty roofs. :)
Maybe not old...but a bit out of shape...but lovely all the same!!
I wouldn't mind having a view of a barn like that from my deck. Nice!
Very nice barn! I see another The Farmer's Daughter commented...how interesting! I'll have to check out her site when I have more time.
gotta love the rust. :)
I was in alabama recently but my view was from the interstate and I just didn't see that many barns. Too bad as yours is very interesting.
Though old, the barn does not appear to be old.
It really doesn't look that old and some of the sheets of metal look really new... Great view from your friend's deck!
Thank you for joining =)

I like the rusty roof. We don't see many like that here.
The barn might not be that old, but the rust makes it look aged. Nice find!
what a view. (:
