What a neat looking car, I just love them. We found an old model A that the owner drove over 2000 miles in one trip.

This is a great looking old car. I'm not a car buff, but I used to be able to recognize the make of a car by the emblem and still can on some of them, but I don't know the model. There are too many different ones now!

That's an awesome find! It's in better shape than I would expect for being outside.

I don't know what it is, but it's definitely before the straight and angular look of the later 1950's.

Now why can't I get Dinah Shore out of my head!!

That's a beauty! I love old cars and I don't know what this one is. I know most cars from the 50's and 60's then they started making too many models after that to keep up with. :) Great photo.

Fun to see the old Chevy. Brings back memories of the 1948 Chevy I had when I was young.

I remember the Bel Air.

Why can't the car companies bring back hood ornaments?

I was never one to keep with makes/models, etc. I either liked it or didn't. Someone asked me about a car that parked close by for years, and all I could say was I think it is a buick or oldsmobile. :-D

Meant to add - Have a happy, fun and safe 4th.

Yep, a 1952 Chevy. I wouldn't have known the Bel Air, though. I grew up with a brother who loved cars. This one is in really good shape.

Thank heavens for the old car buffs. I would hate to see these reminders of my childhood gone for good.
