Clouds above the canyon

Maybe I won't torture you with a hundred shots of the Grand Canyon.

We were there in 2006 and it was hazy the whole time, but I still got some good shots.
It is truly an amazing sight to see.

The GC is just so beautiful that I don't have words to describe it. I hope everyone gets to see it sometime. Have you see it from a plane? That's awesome, too. Thanks for sharing your fantastic photo!

Now you're REALLY making me homesick for Arizona! The canyon is an ever changing landscape of color and light.

What an incredible photo! My brother and husband visited there 2 summers ago and had the time of their lives.

Great shot of the canyon. Love how the sunlight is highlighting the butte. I went many years ago and its on my bucket list to go back.

It saddens me that we never took the time to visit the Grand Canyon when we lived in Arizona...it is just so beautiful!!

The Grand Canyon was part of our honeymoon trip but, I never got a shot like this one. Actually, I was so scared by the stunts that my husband kept pulling and my own fear of heights that I was kept busy finding trees to hold on to so I felt anchored that I missed most of what was in front of me. Hubby had to do all the photo taking and he mostly wanted to shoot shots of me being a scary cat. Besides, we were there on a foggy, rainy day in March so the visibility was not good anyway.

Fantastic shots . Nice to see what I was to afraid to look at.

Whetting my appetite! We are headed there for a family trip next month! I can't wait! I've hiked the Canyon twice and my hubby has hiked it seven times, but its been many many years since we were there....and frankly there will be no hiking by either one of us now! :-)
