Miscellany Monday

It's been so hot, I have almost run out of things to post!

It has cooled off a little and I went out to the garden last night.

Who knows what this bloom is?
It is one of the few things that I won't eat.

I'm kinda glad we don't have a garden this year. It probably wouldn't have made it. We're doing good to keep the flowers alive with daily watering.

Those tomatoes are going to be YUMMY... There's nothing better than a fresh, home-grown tomato..... YUM...

Don't know what the other is--but I can't imagine you not eating it... Is it some kind of squash?

Let's continue to pray for rain.
Hugs,
Betsy

It has cooled off somewhat here too. Some places in MN got rain over the weekend, but not here. I've been out weeding in my flower garden this morning. I don't raise veggies so don't know what your plant is.

We have cooled here too and I can't wait to have that first tomato.

My tomatoes look about the same--can't wait to eat them!! I don't know what that other flower will turn into. Hope you come back and update. Lovely shots. :)

I've had three weeks for mouth-watering tomatoes. They are quickly dying now and getting sun-burned. I'm so sad!

Can't wait to find out what awful veggie that beautiful flower must be attached to if you won't eat it!

We both have green tomatoes of similar size...twin tomato growers here. Hahahha

I guess squash?? The tomatoes are doing great.

My guess is squash. It looks too high up to be a pumpkin, and it's kind of late for zuchini (or at least I think it is; maybe not).
Great photos of your garden. I have a few potted tomato and pepper plants---no good spot for an actual garden, but they seem to be doing well.

I am impatiently waiting for the home grown tomatoes. Can't get enough of them in season.

Yours are doing very well.
