Jeepers

Powder Mill Hill
Near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

I went back this weekend, but was not inspired by much.  It was mid-day and the sun made everything unattractive.  And, you know sometimes places and things (and people) seem all great and wonderful the first time . . . then you take a second look . . .

Anyway, I saw this cool Jeep.
Reckon those are bullet holes in the back window ?

Click my Powder Mill Hill label for more . . .

I know some wonder how these old rusty things could be considered a top shot, but I'm still

These are amazing photos!!! and clever post title. I haven't seen a handle (knob?) like that on a steering wheel for years and years, but I have seen it before. thanks for the beautiful pics.

Oh I definitely think they are top shots....have a few of these favorites in my archives. I am really drawn to the one of the wheel well....thanks for inspiring me to take a closer look at the junk that surrounds our little corner of the world.

I didn't know Jeep made such a critter. The broken window is probably from some kid throwing rocks, but bullet holes make for a more interesting story. ;) Certainly Top Shot worthy.

I like the bullet hole story and these photos are so interesting. I love rust! And, btw, I'll have a plate (19 yr. old size please) of that beautiful chicken!

Love that old Jeep. I think I have only seen one on the street ever. Thanks for sharing.

Imagining different scenarios for an old beat up vehicle like this is why it's so interesting. I hope if it was a bullet the driver wasn't sitting behind the wheel at the time. :/

That's a very cool and very old Jeep! I like the round headlights that look like eyes. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there were bullet holes in that back window.

Amy, sorry I am having to play catch up today. Things have gotten a bit out of hand at my place.

This is the kind of shots my hubby loves to visit. So it would certainly rate as "Top Shot" in his book.

Love these shots... I haven't seen one of those steering wheel knob 'things' in a long time! Thank you for sharing on WTS#44!
