Gorgeous! But Ruby Red WHAT?? I've never seen anything like this before. I thought it was an apple, but it appears to have a pit. Please enlighten this Wisconsin native. :-)

The first time I heard the word "pluot" I came home and Googled it! Wow--you have certainly captured the color, texture and almost the taste!
