This hairy creature ran from its web when I got back out with the camera.
I really, really hate spiders so I'm a little surprised that I got close enough to get these.
Since it seemed more afraid of me, I kept at it.
I have the heebie-geebies now.

i truly despise these guys, this is a great shot and shows all his hairiness. is that a word? he is one ugly hairy little dude. brave you... i have taken a few shots, but i have a lens that i can stand 10 feet away from them.

Actually spiders don't bother me too much. Now if I had to look at them close up like this all days long it might be a different story!
Ohhhh I don't like big old spiders like that. It does give me the heeebie geebies! Ugh!

Yes! Great photos, but OMG I could NOT have gotten that close.
There are some things that look better from farther away. A big old hairy spider is one of them :) Two miles away is my preference.
Loved the web but could do without the the spider that created it.
