Belfast Depot

Belfast, Tennessee, that is.

Wondering about the Coon Den Lodge?
Apparently it is a coon (raccoon) hunting club.
They have a Facebook page.

I got fooled and thought I was viewing a photo from Ireland until I read the caption. Regardless of the location you still got a good capture.

Well---that's a surprise... Never heard of Belfast, Tennessee... But with that Coon Club there, I'm sure that it's a popular place. We have plenty of raccoons here --that I'll give 'em!!!!! ha

Hugs,
Betsy

I had to laugh when you said they have a FB page. Looking at this photo I wouldn't have thought that. Good find, Amy. :)

This just really tickled my funny bone. And they have a FB page too? Funnier yet. Nifty building though. I wonder what station relics have been saved inside.

Looks like this was once a train depot.

I have a cousin that hunts coon dogs and they have a club. Perhaps this is the same kind of club. My cousin takes his dogs on trials (hunts for prizes) all over the country. I will ask him if he has heard of this club or been here.

What a cool place! I'd love to get a guided tour where you've been getting these great photos!
