B&W Evening Tomato

This is last summer's photo.  I decided to try it in black and white.

And the color version posted last year . . .

They both look lovely with the ray of sunlight through the tomato plant.
Nicely done, Amy.

Love them! Garden tomatoes top my list for favorite things about summer.

I'm surprised but I do like the black and white. I didn't think I would simply because it's a tomato plant! My tomatoes are gone for this year. We enjoyed them tremendously. I had a huge harvest and had plenty to share with many other people but then as they became fewer I got pretty stingy with them!

As your photos show, there's way more to photography than simply 'taking a picture.' These are gorgeous, and the B&W is my favorite!

The black and white really adds a totally new dimension to this shot! The way the light is outlining the plant is pure perfection. Goes to show how important light is in a photo.

Almost looks like a drawing or painting -- beautiful, Amy.

At first glance I thought the plants were covered in frost.

Great shots both. But I still vote for the colored shot.

That B&W is wonderful...not that the other isn't...but oh, I prefer the B&W!

This is stunning! Love how the sun made every 'nook & cranny' stand out. Well done!
