I warned you up front, so if you opened this post to more Mississippi, it's your own doing.
The main public room in Baer House Inn, Vicksburg, Mississippi
We were told that all the white cabinetry was installed by attorneys that used the house for offices
for many years before it became a bed and breakfast.
I wonder if there is beautiful wood underneath this white paint.

i am LOVING your Mississippi shots, keep them coming. i like the shot under the steps with that beautiful chair
Okay. I could move in there. No problem. I was trying to figure out who is the guy on the horse in the framed picture above the fireplace. I was wondering about Andrew Jackson, but...
What an amazing place! And what beautiful photos. Love the detail!
Makes me want to move in. Sure would hate to clean it though. I recognized the law books immediately. Looks similar to the law library in the courthouse where I work. No chandelier there. lol
A grand place -- love the woodwork!
This is a beautiful place. I'm so enjoying your photos.
Love your Mississippi photos and info, Amy... Vicksburg is a neat place.. Glad you made it to Natchez also... AND--isn't the Trace just awesome???
I love B&B's like that with lots of history.. Bet there is some beautiful wood under that white paint....
Hope in your travels that you have been to Biltmore in Asheville. It's one of our favorite places.
Hugs,
Betsy
