Well, I never

Sometimes they refuse to cooperate.

And many thanks to everyone for helping me in identifying birds.  Beyond the colorful birds common to this area, I am not up to speed.  If the bird is only brown and/or gray (which is not immediately recognizable to me) I am at a loss.  Yes, you could say that they all look the same to me.  I am learning to look at their beaks as well as coloring.  Please don't give up on me!

It's fun to help you!! You will become a full-fledged birder soon enough. You are getting so good with that lens, Amy! Keep shooting and we'll keep helping. :)

Thanks for the laugh this morning- I needed it. I find it hard for birds to cooperate too- especially the smaller ones...I am just a slow tracker with my camera.

At least she sat still for her photo shoot even if it wasn't her best side. :)

This gave me a big chuckle, Amy! It's so typical of what most of my bird photos look like. You are also great at titling your posts :)

Haha...definitely not the normal view. I am with you on if they are brown...though definitely trying to learn. Thank goodness for fellow bloggers that know their stuff and/or have books to help identify.
