Whatever catches my eye
no help from me, i only know they are cute and they are birds.
Not sure about the top one, but the red finches are house finches I believe, the non-colored ones are female house finches and then of course, male goldfinches. Nice collection of birds Amy for this time of year! :)
The top one appears to be an Eastern Bluebird. There are only minor visible differences between male and female robins. Males usually have darker heads.
Wow- I finally got one right! I thought bluebird for the top one, but not sure of the bottom. Cute little guys though.
The top is a bluebird, female.
Oops, I should have read the comments, I see Brian answered it.
Love your bird shots. They are always great subjects!
Glad you had help identifying your birds. What a nice assortment at the feeder, and the bluebird is such a sweet shot.
The first bird looks exactly like our female bluebirds. Love seeing the variety of finches at the feeder!
I couldn't have named the blue bird but I did know the house and gold finches.
