. . . or rather, the only thing with decent blooms in my yard lately are these from the ornamental grass. I think this is liriope, but around here it is "monkey grass".
Yep, I've been missing for a few weeks. No real reason, other than lack of interest and inspiration.

They are sure pretty!
I know how it is sometimes to blog...seems like when I get interrupted it gets harder and harder. Yet I miss it...
Beautiful shots! Glad to see you post again!
Very pretty- I wondered where you got off to!
Good to see you in the blog roll this morning Amy. xo
Nice to see you back, Amy! And that grass is gorgeous. Reminds me of the two lavender plants that are in full bloom right now in my garden. I wish monkey grass grew up here; I would plant it. But living in Zone 3/4 leaves us relatively limited choice. What a beautiful purple that is!
beautiful and monkey grass is easier to say and spell. hope you get inspired soon
Glad to see you back with your pretty photos!
Good morning, Amy. I put in this ornamental grass early in the summer. I had no idea I would be getting lovely purple flowers. What a lovely surprise I got one more when I walk out and found the pretty purple spikes peeking out from the fronds.
It's very nice to see you back, Amy! You have captured the beauty of monkey grass :)
I've struggled for inspiration too. Maybe it's the 'dog days' of summer.
