Noblit-Lytle House

The same dreary day as my previous two or three posts.
Again, just off Hwy 11, Giles County, Tennessee

There is a barn, of course, but I'll save that for Barn Charm.

I missed the composition on the fence photos.
Heads shouldn't be chopped off in photos - including fences.

A view of the home place from the hill where the cemetery is.

Should you be interested, here is a link to Noblit Cemetery on Find A Grave
And, for any history buffs, I Googled "Giles County Noblit" and got several interesting pages.

There is more moss planned for the future.  I hope you like it.

These are beautiful photos. The old house is sweet and it looks like someone is taking care of it. I love old cemeteries and the wrought iron fence around this one is really nice. Have a lovely day. Pamela

The iron fence and gate is wonderful. Too bad it doesn't go all the way around.

I'll look forward to exploring your blog as time goes on.

I love wrought-iron fences in cemeteries. This cemetery is especially beautiful with the flowering dogwood and wisteria. It is so warm here our wisteria disappeared two weeks ago and then finally this past week all the dogwood blossoms are gone. It was a short season. I hope your spring lasts a little longer!

Oh, I ADORE this house! It really speaks to me! I could so live in a house like that! Even if it is small! And the fence around the lovely cemetery is wonderful! I love the wild wisteria, too and the moss. Great post!

Old cemeteries like this one are so interesting. I just love them. The fencing is so vintage and beautiful. Gates and fences like this are wonderful bits of history. Your shots of the wisteria are lovely. It has been a long time since I have seen it growing. The little house is precious, and I cannot wait to see the barn. genie
