A friend and I went to a photography event a few weeks ago. The field trip we went on was to an abandoned site of a pioneer village type attraction. I got a few interesting shots. There were several items that didn't quite fit into the classic pioneer time frame. I suppose it depends on what you are pioneering.
That front piece of stereo equipment was Quasar, not even Pioneer.

laughing at your last observation (because i was already wondering as i viewed the photo.) :)
I like the old wood- but this definitely isn't too old of a "pioneer" type homestead..definitely not with Pepsi hanging out on the front porch. I like the angles you chose for that top shot. The cabin itself does look old.
What about the red electrical outlet in the middle of the wall!
It is interesting to see the layers of the years in the old house - it could tell some great stories.
I was wondering about it being Pioneer too! lol
Amusing observation...still glad to live in today's world♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/recharging/
Laughing over that last photo, even though for some it's rather old. I would so enjoy a day out doing this. I'm headed out for some art stuff today. I'm so excited!
Hi Amy. Very tongue in cheek funny. Quasar. Coke. What were the organizers thinking? LOL
I like the pop crates. The stereo pun is neat. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Kind of sad the pioneer village has fallen on bad times. There sure is some great old wood there including the old pop crates. Strange to see the stereo equipment.
