Pokeweed review

My annual shots of the poke weed plant that comes up down at the garden.
I always remind my husband to leave one stalk because I think it's a looker.

These were taken one evening in late August just seconds apart and the only change was that I stepped to the west a couple feet and pointed the camera more to the south to get the garage out of the shot.  Just a couple of feet can change the lighting quite a bit.

Being away has caused me to miss some fine posts. I'm slowly catching up as time allows. It is amazing how changing your angle slightly changes the light and temperature of the shot. The pokeweed is very pretty.

That is so pretty! Pokeweed is much prettier than Stickweed. :-)

There is a whole fence row of these on the way to Bro O's. Never thought about a pic though. Both are beautiful images!

Pokeweed is always pretty. I like both images, but then I love barns :)

Is this what people eat, i.e., poke salad?

Both are beautiful photos and I can see the difference in lighting. And yes, I was wondering as Kathy above, if you use this to make poke salad. :)

Beautiful! I miss seeing the pokeweed in the fall, as well as the sumac! You'll be able to see on my last post, we still have bougainvillea blooms! :-)That's nice too, but I just prefer it in the summer! :-) Have a wonderful fall!

I have enjoyed looking at both of your blogs this morning. I love the old barns here in Wisconsin too. Your photos are beautiful, lighting can make such a difference!
