Shakes

Somewhere in extreme southern middle Tennessee.
I had to include one with the sweet little dog who enjoyed our visit and wanted to have his picture taken in front of his building.

This looks like it may have been taken in winter. If so, I'm wondering if those brambles turn green in the spring.

The poor puppy does not realize the condition the home is in, but still guards it.

Cool old building! I wonder how long it's been there and how long it can stand?

I wish I could explain how I felt when I first saw this pic. I felt a little stab of excitement. This is the type of old buildings I love to find. Thank you for sharing this one!

Does someone live there? Just curious as appears to have some kind of window coverings, and the dog being there.

I wonder what stories this house would tell?

What a find, Amy! I wonder what kind of store this used to be. I like all the different textures (shakes, tin, wood, brick.)
