Nature buffs, please correct me if I'm wrong.  I believe this is a Zebra Longwing.

Wish I could have caught this guy in something other than bright sunlight.

Both the butterfly and the flowers are beautiful.

Hey Amy it could be a Zebra Swallowtail but I don't see any red markings at the very rear of the wings so I am not really sure what it is. However they are nice shots.

It is beautiful, whatever it is! I haven't seen a butterfly like this one.

I don't know many butterflies so I can't help with the ID, but I love the markings! Beautiful photos!

I don't know this butterfly but it sure is a beauty. I haven't seen any butterflies here this year. Maybe the spring was too cold.

he is a zebra longwing, our yard has many of these right now, we are having a lot of rain and they are sitting on our flowers trying to dry out their wings.

He's a beauty, even in bright sunlight.

Beautiful! I think I mentioned we just don't have any butterflies this year. Last year they were abundant!

Great photos - thanks for sharing. Sorry - I am of no help on the kind of butterfly it is.
Enjoy your evening.
