Science

This year's back yard science experiment is an extended one.
It is time for a new pool liner, so the cement pond (vinyl pond just doesn't sound right) has been stewing for a few weeks without chemicals while waiting on the new liner to be installed.
It's a pretty color, if  you don't look very closely.
And the frogs like it.

Wow at first I thought it was a texture you added to the photo. Very eye catching shot.

Smart thinking! I like the way you photographed it through the gate.

Fascinating colors! Made for a pretty composition, anyway!

this photo reminds me of a vacation of 4 days away from home about 14 years ago. while we were gone the pool pump quit. we came home hot and tired and picked the stinky dog up from the kennel, and were ready to jump in the pool dog and all. the algae was so thick we could pick it up by the handful, and it looked like we could walk on it. phooey we had to wait 24 hours to swim.

What an interesting photo! We need a new liner too, not sure if we'll get another summer out of it or not.

Oh, wow! I love it. The colors and "texture" are awesome. And all completely organic. Nice job!

Well, it sure makes a pretty and interesting photo! And speaking of frogs, I was kept awake last night by all the tree frogs in our backyard. When they clocked out near daybreak, the robins clocked in and began to sing. And did I complain a bit??? NO. I was so ready for spring and I love the sounds of God's creatures, as long as they're happy sounds.
