Attention please Ladies: This is the Ladies' Room in a restaurant in Hartselle, Alabama.  The entire restaurant is chocked full of old, rusty, vintage, antiques . . .  You name it, it is probably there.

Hi Amy,
Brenda, Cozy Little House, sent me your way! I have been reading your posts from the last couple of weeks. I love antiques as well, but, mercy! I don't have near the collection that you do. I am so envious.
I have the same passion as you do about the importance of photographs and preserving them. I do alot of scrapbooking and try to scan the pre-digital ones on to CDs. I have an external hard drive in case the computer crashes. I have a safety box that I store my CDs in. Yes, you're right...a major fire or tornado and all those precious memories could be lost. I feel sad when I see all those old photos in the antique store and wonder who these people are.
You take such beautiful photos! What type of camera do you use?
I'm rambling on, I know, but I get excited when I find a kindred spirit. :)

Thanks, Velma. I enjoy your blog also. I so admire people who sew. I can do it, but it is so tedious. I don't have it in me. My camera is a Canon 7D. I am self taught and it took years and years and years. Read the manual, read the manual, read the manual . . . you get the picture. I was determined to "get it".

Amy, it is truly a pleasure to meet you! I hopped over from Brenda's and I am enjoying your beautiful blog! I spend all my spare time in antique stores. Are there any other kind?! Not for me! Twyla

If the bathroom looks like that I can't wait to see the restaurant area. The camera brought back memories of relatives taking tons of photos at family parties. Wonder what happened to all of those photos? The bottles are very interesting, what will you do with them?♥

Thank you, Twyla. Love that name.

Paulette, I'll move the bottles around in the house -- just looking at them. Nice to meet you.

Amy, those bottles are so cool! The last time I was in Hartselle I ate in Cahoots all by myself and did not mind of course! And Lawrenceburg again, I am jealous! I haven't got to go in a while. I have been wanting to go to Bell Buckle also. Do you ever go to the Nashville Flea Market? It is this weekend!

Thanks for visiting and for the nice comment!

Thanks, Laurel. So many blogs, so little time.

Sandie, I eat by myself too, and it's fine. Sometimes you just need to go by yourself. The first time I was in Cahoots, my friend and I walked around with cameras all over. I've never been to Bell Buckle, nor the Nashville Flea Market. This weekend! I might just have to drive up there!
