No rubbish here

No rubbish here, just good vintage.

We went to a car show at
this past Saturday.  There were many nice vintage vehicles and some newer muscle cars.  I really liked all the picnic/travel items in this station wagon.

Sharing with Rubbish Tuesday.

i prefer vintage over new. mother had that table cloth in red and in this blue. and she had a basket very much like this one and also a jug like that. those table cloths were spread on picnic tables, the ground, the hood of our 53 pontiac and we ate out of the basket.

Amy, my son lives in Athens. He had a sailboat being refurbished and this past weekend he and his wife sailed their boat from Guntersville to Wheeler where it has a slip. He didn't mention seeing old cars but it was rather late on Sunday when they arrived.

My mom used to have a basket that pattern and color, but the lid was flat. We had picnics all the time. Oh the memories!

Oh, wow! Love these! (the items shown here) Look at that 'water jug'--or thermos...can't remember what we called ours. Ours was a little newer than this...seems like ours was red and white...had not thought of it in a zillion years.

What a great capture! Brings back memories of my own childhood - we had a picnic basket and thermos very similar to those! :)

Thanks for stopping by to comment on my RT #23 post.
