Upside down and backwards

Yes, the sign on the front is upside down and also backwards.
But, I think it says "Andrew Weden Gen. Mds."
Somewhere between Attalla and Fort Payne, Alabama, U. S. A.

I love finding old places like this. If only the walls could talk here, I bet they would have a lot to say.

I would like to explore inside this building and feel how it once was a busy place. Wonderful picture!

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful find! This really takes me back to my childhood because my grandparents ran a little store similar to this one in south Georgia. I used to stay with them in the summer and help out. They also had living quarters in the back of the store. Thanks for sharing Amy!

The whole thing screams "rustic." Love that the sign is upside down and backwards.

Looks like the stuff I saw when I lived in Georgia in the '60s. Thanks for the memories.

I see it still has some old gas pumps. Wouldn't you love to look inside? Maybe not. Could be full of nasty, slithery things!
