Harvesting




Two pieces of farm equipment make quick work of what looked to be a soybean field somewhere near Thompson Station and Columbia Tennessee.  Two huge trucks were alongside the field, possibly waiting to receive the crop.  I hope the neighboring homes had their windows closed.

i read somewhere they use the soybean plants and bale it for feeding cattle... i love that second shot.. really cool

yesterday we had to quickly close our windows when we heard the combine across the field. A huge cloud of soybean dust and dirt was rising fast! It's amazing how quickly they harvest those fields. I wish I could have gotten some better photos. I was limited to pressing my camera to the window above my bed :)

The fields behind us were harvested on the weekend too. Very dusty. I like your photos.
