This is one of my favorite barns from a few years ago. One day the pretty rusty roof had been painted or replaced.
We have been home from the hospital for a few days now. My husband had a partial hip replacement due to the cancer going there. The hip surgery went as expected, but there were lung complications and we ended up staying a week longer than expected. He is better now.
Thanks everyone, for the well wishes.

the barn looks SO different!
I am so relieved to see this post...was checking back. Glad you are home now. Hope he can get back some of his strength soon.
This doesn't even look like the same barn...depending on if I were in a hurry or not, I might not not have noticed if you had not told.
Glad your husband is home now - it is always better to be at home if possible.
Love the new/painted roof on the barn - sure does spiff it up.
Great shots! Good to hear your husband is on the mend.
Nice comparison shot. Hope your husband continues to improve.
two beautiful photos and i like them equally, with rust and without. Prayers for your hubby, glad you are back home.
Amy, certainly looks like two different buildings! I think the old one is better!
Glad things are going better for you and your husband.
I can't participate this week but I have a nice collection of barn photos now because we traveled to Eastern Washington this last weekend and there are a lot barns in that part of our state!
The rusty roof of your barn photo sure has a lot more character then the new roof!
Nice old barn and good to see it being cared for!
Glad your husband is doing better! I hope he continues to recover well.
It's nice to see a barn keep up, but I liked the rusty roof. Sending well wishes to your husband, I hope he is feeling better now that he is home. Prayers.
So glad to see you back and I hope your sweetie's recovery is speedy.
Nice job on the matching views. Best wishes to your husband.
The barn was beautiful with the rusty roof and hiding in the vegetation, but I'm glad to see they are taking care of it. Hopefully it will be standing for a good long time.
I'm so glad to hear your husband is doing better and well enough to go home. I hope his road to recovery is a speedy one.
