Appleton, Tennessee, U. S. A.
This is a repost from a few years ago. I am not able to keep up much these days. My husband has been in the hospital for over a week. I hope to be able to get back soon to whatever our normal is these days.
Thanks for hanging with me!

I just spent a week in the hospital - so I'm fresh at remembering the stress - hope your husband is home soon.
Love that old barn - looks like the vines might be holding it together.
Awesome! It is still standing fast.
When hubby's are sick, it takes it's toll. Please take care of yourself and hope hubby is home soon!! Love this place...:)JP
Amy, Your photos, no matter how old, are beautiful as always!

Amy, so sorry to hear this about your hubby, I pray now for his healing and for strength for you... we will be waiting. I love this barn and especially the vines
Amy, Definitely has seen better days!
My best to you and your husband!
Thinking of you Amy and wishing you and your husband (especially) well.
Best wishes to your husband.
A beautiful old barn! I think perhaps the ivy is holding it together.
I hope your husband is better soon. Being in the hospital is never pleasant. I'll keep you in my prayers.
I thought I had missed this one but then as I scolled down I recalled that for two days after your post for some reason my computer would only open the second photo. I guess it had a touch of the flu but it opened right up this a.m. It's very picturesque but I'd be afraid to go inside for fear it might collapse. Vines can become very heavy. My mother had a large metal frame that she hung bird feeders from. A morning glory vine attached itself to the frame and we got up one morning and the frame was laying on its side. It had collapsed due to the weight of the vine. I had no idea it would be so heavy until I started trying to pick it up.
I hope your sweetheart is doing better. I'll look forward to when you are able to return with more great photos. In the meantime, good wishes, thoughts and prayers will follow you.
Amy, I am so sorry to hear your husband is in the hospital...I hope things have improved by now.
Love this barn...it is one of those that just captures the heart.
